The lines on our hands may or may not tell our life stories, but I believe we can decide how we experience our lives. This autobiographical work expresses my desire to be more present to my environment and hopefully at some point not have to say "I did not see that!". Made with hundreds of hand cut and curled paper strips - my work is inspired by a myriad of personal reflections and sensory pleasures experienced growing up in India. My process is physically & emotionally demanding but allows me to be more still and brings me closer to how I wish to live.
